How do you move this pesky little critter?

SteveLooking good so far, but, I must admit I haven't been up there for years. The default runways were pretty badly aligned although the navaids were in the right place. I queried this with Rich when we met up at the Avsim conference last year. The data source was the US Air Force and if they'd never actually used it then it could be way off the mark and never corrected. I took the liberty of subtracting 0.5kHz from the NDB just so that it's tunable in Fly!.Andrew Luck18 miles SW EGSH

Thanks Andrew. The files you sent were really helpful. Yes it was a bit of a nightmare doing the taxiway files but all is well now. The dex files have made things better tho'.I did find a couple of piccies in the end with google but just hints of what the airfield is like. eg pic bellow. All the best, Steve.http://mysite.freeserve.com/fly2theuk/aragon.JPGUnited Kingdom Sceneryhttp://ftp.avsim.com/library/search.php?Se...y2tms&Go=SearchRepaintshttp://ftp.avsim.com/library/search.php?Se...y2Air&Go=SearchOther fileshttp://ftp.avsim.com/library/search.php?Se...2Misc&Go=Search

SteveThere's one overhead shot of the main passenger terminal at http://www.norwichairport.co.ukWhilst researching this though I did come across another airport nearby that you might like to model at http://www.chris.gurney.co.uk ; Northrepps International. From the extensive photos on this website I don't think that it would be too much trouble ;-). Might have to do the DEX files for this one.Andrew Luck18 miles SW EGSH

SteveGot the files and had a quick slew around the area. Looks pretty good. Lots better than my last effort. Can you do night lighting for the taxiways? Not all of them need to be lit as there are quite a few closed ones.Just emailed the guys at Northrepps to see if they can supply the lat / long coords of the runway thresholds. If so then we should be able to get this field, (I think this is the correct term here :-)), into the sim fairly easily.Andrew Luck18 miles SW EGSH
