I cannot get the planes to start in a parked position. Here's a sample of my flight plan and Taxiplan. This is for the aiport KPVD. As you can see, I cannot figure out what else is needed to have the plane start in a parked position and land .tony

Hi Tony, here is the story.Flight plan:AC#4,N700,50%,24Hr,IFR,12:45:00,13:43:07,250,F,1000,KDCA,15:00:00,15:58:07,260,F,1010,KPVDKPVD arrival time 15h58 #flightnumber 1010 !!! departure time 12h45 (next day) always same flightnumber as arrivals (sorry!)so...TaxiPlan:KPVD,D,1010,0150208,1038832,00,00,0150216,1038841,00,00,0150225,1038850,00,00,0150226,1038875,00,00,0150231,1038880,00,00,0150230,1038884,00,00,0150230,1038884,22,00,0150230,1038884,30,00,0150202,1038861KPVD,A,1010,0150176,1038840,00,00,0150210,1038868,00,00,0150226,1038882,00,00,0150225,1038849,00,00,0150208,1038834,01,00,0150208,1038832...should work now.In arrival path first point is touchdown, next one is 11 knts leg. First and second points give landing angle.First turn need to be adapted with int values instead of real but you should have the clue.Parking = the same coordinates that I used for departure = 0150208,1038832Hope this helps,Best regards to all of you,Laurent

Hi, Laurent. Your example finally brought to light many small but important points. Several more questions: 1.Your example landed the aiplane on runway 5. When I tried creating a taxi plan for rny 23, the plane approached runwy 5 and landed at the rny 23 touch down point and continued beyond that point outside the aiport until it parked in the appropriate spot . Can you simply confirm that I did something wrong, and I'll try again. I am assuming that I can choose the landing patterns.2. How do I orient the AI plane so that it's parked correctly?Your work is fantastic, and I greatly appreciate your time and help with this. tony

Hi Tony,Yes, you can choose wich rny you want (even made two ai landing at the same time on two rnys ; hope there's no bugs !!) : you just need to choose the first (landing point)leg point 'on' the rny you want and the second point 'on' the rny gives the direction. For the parking, the ai will stop with the last two points direction : so keep it turning (and moving)until it is at the right position. If I ever develop this tool (and I want to do so) I will change int values with real values in order to have better accuracy in legs.I will try to land on rny 23 to check it out (if there's a pb I will post a message here).RegardsLaurent

Laurent, I think I know why it was so confusing figuring out the coordinates. I used your coordinates for rny23 and they worked fine. However, as you can see from the pic, when I lock in the coordinates for that same point on rny 23, I get 0150230,1038858. As you can see, the landing point is different from yours. Do you have an explanation? Can the US edition of FLY be that far off from yours? I used the following for the other rny 23( the longer one) and the plane landed somewhere down the runway, which would explain why I was not able to create landing .tony

Hi Tony and all,We have the same figures, Tony : you just pointed the very treshold of the rny while I made my touchdown point much down the rny. You actually can decide a touch down point anywhere down the rny.The first point in the path line is a point down the runway, not the treshold anytime.Best regards to all of you,Laurent
