Is there a way to open a *.smf file?

I realize that the final file format for objects in Fly!2 is .smf, but, is there a way to import this object format for editing in ANY program?

ZMODELER, which is freeware 3D-Design program, can import/export .SMF-Files. The homepage is www.zmodeler.comThere is a zmodeler-tutorial available at AVSIM and at ROTW.Harald

You can also open the .smf file in Notepad. I often do this when making a night model, rename the .smf and .tif, then I open the .smf and change the picture name.
