Monitor and FS2k2 Resolution

Do you have to run FS2k2 and your monitor at the same resolutions? Thanks in advance :DRyan-Flightpro08 :-coolTaxiwaysigns.com

Nope. FS2K2 will switch to whatever resolution you set in FS and switch back to your desktop res upon exiting. I run FS2K2 a little higher res than my desktop.

FS2002 runs the Windows Screen resolution in the FS2002 Window Mode. The full screen mode can be different and is setup under options, settings, display, hardware tab, full screen resolution.Therefore, if your normal windows resolution is 800x600x16, FS2002 will use this resolution in the FS2002 Window Mode. If you want a higher resolution or the same resolution as full screen mode, you have to set it in Windows by right clicking the desktop, selecting properties, settings, then setting your screen resolution and color quality, click Ok. You may or may not have to reboot your computer for the change to take place.
