How do I package scenery

Recommended Posts

Guest dajackman

I enjoy creating airport scenery. Creating the taxiways and buildings and such. How do I package it up so others can download it? I currently use Fly2's scenery editor. Is this an easy task or is it more involved than I realize. I currently have most of the airports in Virginia done and a few in West Va and NC. Thanks for the help!

If I recall, you need to create a text file that has all the file names that you want to POD. You can do this by using the command line dir to get a file list. Then, you feed this file into the File Manager in Fly! II and it will spit out a POD file for you.Everyone correct me if I'm wrong it's been a while ;-)http://saltydogfly2.avsim.net/images/avsim_sig.jpg"Ah the Luftwaffe - the Washigton Generals of the History Channel." - Homer Simpson

Hi :-) I use pod creator to pod my scenery as well as terrormodels podding. If your just using Fly2 built in editor, all your files will be saved in the fly2 data folder. In a subfolder looking like D253171 (United Kingdom)Simply use pod creator to pod this folder.Hope this helpsSteve.http://mysite.freeserve.com/wrexhamspace/wasp.jpg][/divMy United Kingdom Scenery.http://library.avsim.net/search.php?CatID=...&Go=Change+View
