Any updates for ROTW's Socata TBM700 in WinXP

Recommended Posts

Anyone hear if there will be an update to make the EFIS functional for switching Nav1 source and the nav light positioning when using WinXP? I tried quite a while back to figure out why the CTD when attempting to switch Nav1 source but my limited knowlege and experience reared its ugly head. Any news would be appreciated as this is a true favorite for flying around. Also, any plans to animate the control surfaces in the side and quarter views? RealAir Simulations did such a beautiful job of animating the wings in the Citabria/Decathlon, I wondered how much work it would be to do the same in the Socata TBM700. For that matter all of the available FlyII aircraft :).Zane

ROTW made wing's animated parts on ... the P-51 Mustang !Did you try it ?About the XP Bug, it seems that the problem comes from XP (and 2K), not from the TBM. Just have a look backward a few month in the forum topics.

Haven't tried the P51 yet, but want to look in to how model moving parts, possibly a gauge operating in those views.I was aware of the XP/2k limitation listed both in the readme and on the French site where ROTW puts all their goodies. There was word quite a few months ago that Rene was working on a fix but he wasn't in any hurry, hadn't heard any further.Zane
