Wayne, do you know?

Hi, Wayne. I have begun to organize all of your wonderful airports in FLY2. For the pod and scf files that go into the "scenery" folder I simply create folders and give them the name of each state. So, in short, all of the airports are stored in the scenery folder in their corresponding "state" folders. Now, for those files that are placed in the Data folder, FLY2 does not read them unless they are located right in the data folder. Do you know if there's a work around? Ideally, I'd like to have all the data files for these airport in their separate state folders. Can aoo of these files be place in one large pod, for example.Thanks.tony

Tony I don't think placing different POD and SCF files in one big POD will work. Each of the airport sceneries that I did are in a particular state and the POD and SCF file should go into the state where the airport is.Perhaps I do not understand your question.

Wayne, I was referring to those files that are placed in the "DATA" folder of FLY2. tony

Sorry Tony, that's what I get for not reading a message carefully.I have done some PODing of taxiway files for some states, but not all. You can create a folder for each state and POD the files for that particular state and place in the folder. There is a how-to in, I believe, the FlyII/Miscellaneous directory explaining how to do that. I will get around to doing this when there are enough airports for a particular state. The problem that I see in doing this is that as I add airports you will need to unPOD the file and add the taxiways. That should not be a problem.I do not know if PODing all taxiways into one file will work, but you might give it a try and let us know. I assume you are wanting to POD taxiways for all the states into one file.
