Those updates are no longer there. My main simulator, the Elite 135 PCATD, has a yoke, switches, power quadrant, rudder pedals, avionics panel, simulates instrument failures, has a Seneca simulator, and is FAA approved for flight school training. But it is IFR only.I don't want to move all that to this computer (which I mostly use for graphics), so I just wanted a good joystick. Also, that is simpler and more fun for the kids, who are also spoiled and don't even want to fly the real thing when we travel. It seems strange to me that the kids would rather fly a simulator on the computer, and sleep in the back of the plane rather than sit up front in the right seat!I haven't been able to figure out how to calibrate the joystick I have, and I could use a trim control on it but there are no more variable settings on it.

Thanks, the window was reading one of the joystick buttons.I still haven't been able to calibrate the joystick, not do I have a trim control which is frustrating. But as I indicated in another message, this is not my main simulator. I just had the program in an unopened box, so I put it on this G5 when I got it for other graphics uses.Considering what the Elite PCATD cost me, I am not going to invest a lot in more hardware. And considering how long it took me to set that system up, I am not going to move it.
