NOT the Ken you are looking for, but from what I understood from the Read-me file I have, You would need to create some terrascenery for the area, but do not let it get podded. All the files need to reside in the data folder. I tried an older elevation file from Fly!2K - unpoodded the globetile in question... still could not get Flattenator to work for me on my side of the Pond for the area in question, Steve. :-( Ken Wood :-sun1http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/bannernewkw.jpgGateway 700X; Intel P4 2.4GHz; 512MB RAM; NVIDIA Ti4200 4X AGP 128MB; SB Audigy; Thrustmaster TopGun Fox 2 Pro Shock

Guest Fly II Pilot

Steve,You can use Flattenator Deluxe for Terrascened scenery, for elevations created from a RAS file (like the recent Como lake scenery), or you can even "export" the default elevations of a certain area within Fly! II and add more detail. Now, be advised that Flattenator Deluxe will work with a maximum resolution of 4x4 per ground tile but Fly! can handle up to 8x8. If your Terrascened scenery includes areas with very high detail 8x8 elevations (some parts of the US), Flattenator will crash.I have a pretty good document by Harald Kraft that explains Flattenator with a little bit more detail. You will also need an Excel spreadsheet called Flatten Help, which I also have.I added to the spreadsheet a way to "visualize" the terrain you create. It requires a pretty good understanding of the file structure because you have to cut and paste sections of it into the Excel file.I'll be glad to send it to you privately and to Jeff so he can add it to Fly Developers, just be advised that I am not the author.Regards,

I wish I could be more help, but I am way way way rusty with Fly! stuff. I can't remember very much unless I go dig up the source code and have a go at it.Regards,
