Apologies, Wayne... My fingers don't fly as fast as my brain anymore. :-)I don't have my scenery disks handy at the moment, but I could have bet on the horses you had done KORD some time back! Based on all the sceneries you've done to date - it's hard to keep track of them all! But if I have made an error, I apologize! I'll just eat some Crow with corn chowder, please... ;-)Anywho - I myself use FSImport and some KORD sceneries from FS2002 to suffice. The extra polygons from "homemade" grass areas along the taxiways can be a tad disconcerting to look at, but the buildings are very nice.Cheers to all!Ken Wood :-sun1http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/bannernewkw.jpgGateway 700X; Intel P4 2.4GHz; 512MB RAM; NVIDIA Ti4200 4X AGP 128MB; SB Audigy; Thrustmaster TopGun Fox 2 Pro Shock

Hi Ken:Just having some fun as I too make typos a lot. See the smilies are not working for you as well as myself.I have heard of converting FS scenery for Fly, but have not tried it. If you would, Email me a small airport that you have done and let me look at it. I don't want to spend the time converting one until I can see what the final product looks like. May be able to do something with it.I haven't checked the library yet to see if there is a KORD, although it does not show up on my list.Still working on that other project and will get to you shortly.

I can send you some screenshots from within the sim, but the sceneries are "machine specific"... one has to use FSImport on their own computer. That's a limitation Padriac (PodJoe) incorporated into FSImport to help alleviate the gray area of copyright materials. Normally, FSImport runs fairly quickly when converting. So choosing a scenery and converting it isn't a major problem. I do not think one can do much with the converted files. It would be a major undertaking to find and remove the references from within each podfile created. I know I cannot select anything from within the built-in editor, nor use TerraModels in same area without corrupting the conversion pod. Sooo... But it does help and gives a nice look - with most of the time most acceptable fps - even for large areas like KATL. Of course, I have a fairly fast computer, so that helps... :-)Thanks for all the help! Now that the Dauphin is released, work should pick up on the Seawind. I have to redo the standard cockpit. Am just not satisfied with the panel. So major rework coming up...Cheers!Ken Wood :-sun1http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/bannernewkw.jpgGateway 700X; Intel P4 2.4GHz; 512MB RAM; NVIDIA Ti4200 4X AGP 128MB; SB Audigy; Thrustmaster TopGun Fox 2 Pro Shock
