Yesterday I took off with your glider at Zell/see, left the tow 1500 feet above ground level and reached 13000 feet 20 minutes later in the Gro

Thanks Harald,It's really kind of you.You all now that Fly! isn't specialised with ultralights and air isn't modeled like it is with MicroFlight or others sims like this, but I know we can improve the whole glider experience if you all glider pilots whish ...I have already understand that thermals scattered position (under ugly clouds) have to be adjusted (I initially prepared it with a low fps drop scheme) ...Updrafts are randomised, and ridge gliding is very little modified from TRI settings. In the cockpit we can add some useful gauges and, as another idea, we can improve the towing sequence.Have you any idea ? Don't know if I could prepare it but I can try ...All the bestLaurentC (rotw)

Hi LaurentCI wouldn't change the towing, it feels just right (I use stick and rudder with my simulator).I have now 2 "plugin" menues from ROTW, maybe this could be changed to one (I dont know how to)Ridge soaring seems a little bit to easy, its no problem to keep your altitude for 40 miles or more without ever circling. And maybe there there will be some gliders with a lower gliding ratio to make things less easy. In reality in our flying club i use airplanes with a gliding ratio between 1:30 and 1:40.Harald

A very big thankyou from me too. This Gliding system is very addictive, who`s the Babe in the back :-lol Anyway, I know there is more to be done, but its going to be used by me quite a lot in the future. Is it possible for us to do repainting with this glider?Or is it best holding off for further improvements? Im glad I have all of Haralds scenery, the perfect places to Glide from. I had a very long flight last night around the Welsh Mountains were I live... perfect.SteveMy Websitehttp://www.wrexhamspace.orghttp://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/ysomdesign/banner.jpg

Hi Steve,I think repainting can be done because the 3d model is quite right by now and don't need any improvement (but Jarno from F2FDesign is the one who can tell that ...) : improvements will be done (if ever) with the cockpit panel and the gauge system and the whole system (thermals, ridge gliding etc ...)But pay attention at the pod structure because this model has some links with dll and other vehicles. If you have difficulties to pod another repaint just post it and I will help you anyway.Cheers,LaurentC (rotw)
