Jan, you underestimate your wonderful talent. To me it looks fantastic. Look at the Steves models pod if you want to see ugly ships :-lol Your right on your files though, I only use 3ds max, I do have FSDS but cannot get my head around it. So sadly I wouldnt be able to add anything. But honestly you are a very good modeller.. dont pull yourself down. Take a look at some default FS9 models close up.... shame on them :9 SteveMy Websitehttp://www.wrexhamspace.orgF2FDesign Websitehttp://www.f2fdesign.com/ My Fileshttp://library.avsim.net/search.php?CatID=...&Go=Change+View http://www.wrexhamspace.org/sig.jpg

G'day George,I will NEVER, NEVER buy or attempt to buy online again. Full stop; period. A couple of months ago I went to an online shop ( one of Avsims advertisers I might add ) and placed an order for the FSDS modeling software. I would have used the Aussie branch of the company but they didn't have the product. The American branch did have the product ( at least it was listed as available ) so I went ahead and gave all the credit card details etc and ordered a copy. Within 24 hours I received an email with order referrence number and an email address to contact if I had problems. I anxiously waited the two weeks waiting for my new software but nothing arrived so I emailed back quoting the order referrence number asking if there were any problems. Waited another week and still no software and no response to the email I sent. I decided to ring the Aussie branch of this company and explained my predicament. They took all my particulars. They were mystified as to what the problem was and said that they would contact the American branch on my behalf and see what the problem was. Well that was over a month ago and still I have no response from either the Aussie or American branch.I just give up. This is totally unacceptable to me. The upside is that my Visa hasn't been debited. I no longer want the product so I've given up chasing but the experience has turned me off online purchasing for good.I just don't appreciate giving out my personal Visa details for the fun of it.Cheers,Roger

Hi Roger, interesting story, the problem might be that a company far away from you established in another country is envolved. Lucky they didn't take your money too, bad for me they didn't send the software, otherwise we could count on you. ;)But you can use Jan's carrier without improving anything. Just drop me an eMail so that I reply with that file added, only 300 kB big, small enough even if you have a dial-up connection.RegardsGeorg HeliFLYer EDDW

Georg and Roger... And JanI have the Software, FSDS. Sadly its totaly different from the software I use.I just have that much on my plate now, Liverpool Airport, Steves Models V2, Autogen Scenery and I have a few private bits of Fly2 work to do. So sadly I dont want to start more work for myself... Toooooo much learning to do :-eek Sorry I cant go any further with this, but If Jan allows this to be uploaded, I will add people to be able to be used on deck. They have been made and are ready :-) SteveMy Websitehttp://www.wrexhamspace.orgF2FDesign Websitehttp://www.f2fdesign.com/ My Fileshttp://library.avsim.net/search.php?CatID=...&Go=Change+View http://www.wrexhamspace.org/sig.jpg

Hi Steve,I think Jan did not want his carrier to be uploaded as it does not fit his very high quality stardards. But he wrote ".. do with it what you want". That means, if anyone improves it, gives credit to Jan like "idea and basic work by Jan M Herigstad, improvements by ..." this should be possible to upload under the name of the follower.Jan has his credit and the follower is the aim of all that shame over him (just joking, you all know how my real opinion about this wonderful object is, contrary to the creator :-) ).This could be the begin of a long and wonderful story ...Thanks to all giving new power to FLY!RegardsGeorg CessnaOnACCLander KSFO, EDXH

Hi Georg and Steve. Not sure if I want any credit ;)If anyone want to modify it,they need the original textures,or even better, make new one's.And it's too big,it need some scaling. It's too easy for you guys to land. And Georg, here is a screenshot from one helo addict to another. The helo is a bit bigger than what you are used to,but you'r gona love it some day.Take care.Janhttp://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/bannerjh.jpg

Hi Jan,than kyou for the reply!First:If it is too complicated to improve, doesn't matter, I have much (!) fun with your carrier and it is good enough for me as you might have noticed , many posts from me here at the AVSIM forum. But there is absolutely no interest at a FLY! carrier, I sent the files only to Steve and another German FLY!er. So I don't think we should get gray hairs about polishing it up, it is not worth the time and energy. For me its just pure fun for and rather childisch satisfaction when having mastered a landing in a way a can accept. (By the way, the scale is pretty good for amateur fixed wing pilots like me :-) ).Second:I thought you were working at a new project. The Sikorsky S61N is REALLY a big helicopter, I can only say that by imagination because I never saw one in real life. The screenshot demonstrates your (F2FD?) thoroughly work like with the Dauphin :-) . This is worth waiting for a long time and (as I told you already when you made the Dauphin) it is like Christmas for a helo-addict!Thank you (and all F2FD people) for the work and time you put into that project.See youGeorg

G'day Alex,> Do you believe in Santa? >:-lol I found out the truth about Santa when I was about 9 or 10. My elder sisters burst my bubble. I'm now 61 so you're just a wee bit late. :-) I have never forgiven them. :-lolCheers Alex,Roger
