Techies: what is VIVO used for in a video card?

I have a Radeon 64 VIVO, but I don't know what the VIVO capabilities are for. Anyone know?Noel

I think it stands for Video In / Video Out, referring to the connections on the card. The cheaper models don't have these connections.

VIVO stands for video invideo out. With video in you can capture video into your computer from an analog source such as a camcorder, TV, or VCR. With video out you use a TV to view your computer screen or record to a VCR. Of course you would need the proper cabling to accomplish all this, as well as you would need some kind of capture software to use the video in mode of operation.
