Has anyone done any elevations for Alaska and surrounding area's? I see that the SRTM stuff can be imported into Fly!II now. Has anyone tried that yet? I would LOVE to have elevations for Alaska. At one time, I think I did a bunch of taxiways for Alaskan airports, but I'm not sure I have them anymore.I propose we try to turn Fly!II into a Bush sim.. :-)Think it can be done?Dondo

Hi Doddo,to import the relief with the files SRTM is not difficult. I have written two tutorials on this subject.Find them on AVSIM. In alternative it uses the method of Roland (ROTW), also it very efficacy.Dan

Dondo,A couple of years ago I did elevations for the Aleutian Islands and Southeast Alaska using USGS Dems. If you search on my name (Don Bishop)you should find them. They weren't perfect but made a huge difference for me.Don
