Roger,Take a look at this link:http://flylegacy.dyndns.org/twiki/bin/view/Fly/ScenerySoundsAs you can see, Laurent added the addon right there for everyone to download. The only limitation might be a) Chris' bandwidth and :( storage. I'd have to check with Chris to see how much space he has. If space becomes a problem we can all pitch in $5 and get Chris a 240GB disk for the WIKI.Take care,http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/banneraa.jpg

Jeff,"Why on earth would anyone deny them the same type of accessto upload to beta test thier projects"Who is suggesting that? All I suggested is that we keep everything in a single place, that being the WIKI.Hope this clarifies my position.Regards,http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/banneraa.jpg

"All together now! Show me the way to go home,Im tired and I wanna go to bed.I had a little drink about an hour ago, and its gone straight to my head. Wherever I do roam, over land or sea or foam...You'll always find me singin this song show me the way to go home!":+ OK end of thread now before we all get banned by Uncle Tom :-roll By Silly Steve[divalign=center]http://www.wrexhamspace.org/sig.jpg][/divNASA ATX Graduatehttp://www.wrexhamspace.org

G'day Alex,OK I told you I was no Wiki expert. :-) The example of Laurents confirms file sharing, that's great. One thing that desparately needs to be done is to get an anchored thread with the Wiki url. Newbies won't even find the Wiki let alone navigate their way around. Don't get me wrong, I like the Wiki idea but as I stated in another post I can still see merit having a simple Flydevelopers.com website. The Wiki may be slightly intimidating to the less computer literate simmers.Cheers,Roger

I agree Roger.I just couldnt get my head around it, though I do support any idea to promote and help fly2. Chris is a great guy and I realy like him. He has done fab work for the sim. Rock on Chris :-wave But Im just sticking to what I know.Im giving up 400 megs of my webspace for Fly Developers to use for file storage, its the least I can do. Though Im not very worried about lack of support to Avsim, I cant see any other way to top it. Its our Central hub of gathering together as developers and fans of Fly2. Tom and the gang have done a fantastic job of keeping all this together. Look at the fantastic job ROTW has done over the years with there site. And F2FDesign too.Im glad of our variaty, anyway the main thing is, we stick to what we prefer and like and support were we can. We cant as Alex rightly says support everyone of these sites.I for one am putting all of my support with Fly Developers. I did when it was in its infancy, putting my beta tests up first, helped me in many ways. Dajackmans legacy will carry on. Its good fun and I love it. Yesterday our visits were fantastic, Jeff and I were on the job nearly all day, to be honest I havent had this much fun for a longtime. Why not pop by to find out about a new Helicopter in plans ;-) Also Im in the middle of creating a bushmans pack and a request for something bigger. Kennedy Space Center :-) Dan I will try :-lol Anyway, all the very best to all projects, remembering the man that changed many of our lives in some way...
