Had a great Flight in the Jabiru from Liverpool To Manchester Airport. http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/114402.jpg When landing at Manchester I took it to the stalling point just before the tires touched the tarmac, and the nose dropped on me. :-lol I wasnt expecting that :-eek But i did have some strong crosswinds which kept me on my toes. She felt a little more unstable than the Flyhawk which I like. Feeling like a smaller plane :-) All in all a great flight with no technical problems or crashing by me or Fly2 for that matter. Sorry for posting here but I havent been able to send or recieve emails all evening. ISP doing some updates! Thanks mate, Steve. :-beerchug [divalign=center]http://www.wrexhamspace.org/sig.jpg][/divNASA ATX Graduatehttp://www.wrexhamspace.org

Hi Roger!I said I wouldnt do this again, but I was tempted. Bought myself some new overalls, brushes and new tinted windshield. Splashed out on a new panel too ;-) 1http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/114407.jpg 2http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/114408.jpg 3http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/114409.jpg She is based on a real word paint!Steve[divalign=center]http://www.wrexhamspace.org/sig.jpg][/divNASA ATX Graduatehttp://www.wrexhamspace.org

G'day Steve,Geeezz that was quick. :-) Only e-mailed it to you last night.Your repaint looks great. I really like your panel mod. Do you mind if I "steal" your idea for the release aircraft?. It looks 1000% better than what's there at present.Enjoy your modelling/repainting/simming. Bet you had fun trying to figure out the crazy way I'd textured the model. :-lol Glad it all works for you, all thanks must go to Jan for setting me straight about the Fly! II editor. If all goes well with the testing it should be uploaded in the not too distant future. It's just that the original upload was such a comical farce; I had to ask for it to be removed from the Library twice; I just don't want to be a third time loser! :-lolCheers,Roger

Hi Roger :-wave No worries, use what you want, I sent you the tiff file with about 10 layers so you can use what I did. http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/114419.jpg I took a screen grab of your panel and then just sized it over your original on the tiff file. Oh and painted the yellow square light blue. You will have to teach me the Jabiru writing trick on the tail ??? I was lost on that one :-) Thanks again, Steve[divalign=center]http://www.wrexhamspace.org/sig.jpg][/divNASA ATX Graduatehttp://www.wrexhamspace.org

G'day Steve,Thanks for the Tif. I'll see what I can do using the info.>You will have to teach me the Jabiru writing trick on the tail>??? I was lost on that one :-) I told you it was crazy texturing :-lolThe "Jabiru" on the fin is not writing per se. It is a 3d object inlayed into the fin just like ivory is inlayed into a coffee table. Then all I did was made a gradient texture to apply to the object. The great big light blue to dark blue rectangle in the tif is the texture for the fin "Jabiru". The LH and RH "Jabiru" objects on the fin are mapped to that texture. I did that before learning that I could simply detach a section and type lettering onto the surface. Which is what I did for the rear fuselage and wings. The 3d lettering capability of Truespace is ideal for static models requiring neon signs or just large letters for things like airport names, Coca-Cola etc etc.OR even aircraft if you want to get fancy with the texturing of the letters :-)Cheers,Roger

Nice work on the livery, Steve! The Jabiru will make a wonderful addition Roger! Steve, may need to ask a favor in doing some of the livery paints for Seawind again. Jarno had to modify the original model itself, and the original tif file. So last try, the factory scheme and my personal scheme do not work correctly now. If you find time, would you mind taking a look at the latest? I'll send it along in separate email. Very much appreciate it!Cheers!Ken Wood :-sun1http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/bannernewkw.jpgGateway 700X; Intel P4 2.4GHz; 512MB RAM; NVIDIA Ti4200 4X AGP 128MB; SB Audigy; Thrustmaster TopGun Fox 2 Pro Shock

No problem Ken!You guys are doing a great job. I sent you an email with some questions! Its good to hear the Seawind is showing her pretty face once again. I was looking at the files you sent to me a few weeks back and would like to see what the latest panel is like. (If you dont mind, that is ;-) ) Im interested in making panels too once a few things have been sorted out in my private life :-( Steve[divalign=center]http://www.wrexhamspace.org/sig.jpg][/divNASA ATX Graduatehttp://www.wrexhamspace.org
