Autobrakes in PMDG 777-200ER?

Hi, I'm wondering if the autobrakes in the 777ER are functional or if they just never got fixed before PMDG moved on. So far I'm unable to get them to work. In PS1.3 it's a pretty simple process, turn the knob and you've got autobrakes. Is there some kind of condition that must be met in the 777 for them to activate?I've tested it both in RTO/Aborted takeoff mode and in regular usage. The PMDG manual states that autobrakes should engage if the throttles hit idle before V1 when the knob is set to RTO. No go unfortunately, the airplane will roll down the runway until you hit the grass or intervene manually. Also unable to discern any uniform deceleration even with reversers or spoilers which is supposedly what the 777ER's autobrake system provides.Help!

Hello, yes, Fly!II is patched to .240. I'm actually a very old member, I went under the name prince when the original Fly! first came out (I did the sounds for the DC-9, 727 and 747 for Fly! and Fly!II)I've just been lurking for a while ;)Looking to get back into Fly!II... Donny AKA ShalomarFly 2 ROCKS!!!I think the engines have to actually spool up to a certain power output like 50 percent or greater, can't remember specifically, then RTO activates if the throttles are reduced to idle. I did a few test runs at KESA with my 777 200 IGW (Full Package) I got a month or so ago. There seemed to be a reduction in runway use in deceleration from 90 knots when the RTO function was on than when it wasn't, but not enough. I did notice that when the plane came to a stop or shortly before the switch went by itself from RTO to off. I was having frame rate problems during the tests so I'll look into it more after I install the Fly tweaker tool. I think my computer was having trouble with the load from all the DLLs, or one was conflicting with the PMDG autobrake.dll. A while ago ROTW suggested switching to a default aircraft before exiting in Persistent World to avoid systems problems in the Seneca, that might affect the 777 too. Best Regards, Donny:-wave

Sorry for my late reply- school keeps me busy on the weekdays. Thankfully I've no classes on Friday this semester, I think I'd explode with stress if I did.Thank you for the responses so far.I've done a few tests using full flight plans and made sure the landing parameters are correct in the FMC, as well as the autopilot- however I have come to the conclusion that the autobrakes in the 777 do not work -at all-. :(The manual says that at max auto they should be decelerating the plane at approximately 6 meters per second- there's definately not that much deceleration going on when I land. I think the only reason your plane was slowing down can be attributed to normal tire friction with the runway and aerodynamic forces.Little bit dissapointing, but I guess it's not too bad, manual braking isn't difficult. And they haven't modelled brake pad overheating (As far as I can tell), the landing gear system page doesn't ever change at least on my system.No problem though, I still enjoy the aircraft very much! I just wish I could get my hands on the 757.ThanksCory
