Anaglyph cloud and aircraft images (PICS)

Hey All,Since there's so much interest in stereo anaglyptic viewing lately, I thought I'd post some pics sim related. I have been collecting stereo pics, movies, etc for years... Unfortunately, I can't give proper credit to the original source for these (they were downloaded from UseNet somewhere along the way). These are some great cloud pics that work extremely well with either Red/Cyan or Red/Blue glasses (Red to left eye). And here are a few aircraft pics (maybe we can talk some enterprising aircraft developer to include anaglyph optional 2D cockpits in the future - the one big downside for FS in anaglyph stereo is poor 2D panel registration... Hi ya Todd,I'm sorry to say but I've never looked locally for any stereo glasses. I know there used to be a joke/party shop (warehouse actually) downtown across the street from Kellogg's, so that might be a good place to check if its still there. Of course, you can always build your own as well, but be aware the colors need to be pretty spot on to avoid ghosting of the stereo image with anaglyphs. If you choose this route, you should be able to find some decent transparency/overhead sheets (for printers) at a place like Office Depot or similar. If you can't get close enough in color, another idea might be to check into theater supply or music supply stores for spot-light gel sheets (they'd probably be closer in color as they'd be darker I'd think than printer transparencies).Once you get a cheap pair and if you decide to get into the hobby, I'd highly suggest you get a good manufactured pair made specifically for anaglyphs. There were some good links provided in the 3D thread and there are lots of other places on the net you can order from. Even professional glasses are usually pretty inexpensive, running in the $10-$20 range for acryclic lenses. I've got a great pair made of glass that only ran me $50 or so a few years back.Sorry I couldn't recommend anything locally specific.
