Peregrine Overhead Panel Question

Hi Guys,Just wondered if someone can give me an explanation as to what the Engine N1- N2 Sync switch does on the Peregrine Overhead panel and also the Engine Ignition Switches.Do these actually work? and what is their function?Just curious..........!Regards John

Donny AKA ShalomarFly 2 ROCKS!!!In real life no two engines put out an equal amount of power for a certain position of a throttle lever. The sim has perfectly synchronised engines, so the engine synch switches don't do anything. The N1 and N2 are for high and low altitude ops I assume.Do you mean autoingnition? It lights the ingnitors to prevent flameout when power in an engine drops to a certain level. Esecially on takeoff a slug of water from a puddle can get in your engine, but it would have to be some pretty heavy rain to be a problem in midair. This can work with or without ice protection, which forces the air coming into your engine to turn sharper than ice and water usually can, at ~15% loss of power. I got tired of killing engines every time I wanted to practice and did extensive touch-and go's with these protections off in conditions they definitely should have been on in, but no failures. So except for Jean's ATR-42-500, engine ice protection is not modeled.Of course, piston engines don't have autoignition switches, the spark plugs have to fire or else!Best Regards, Donny
