File Manager Problems

I am trying to extract a .pod file using the file manager. However, the dialog window does not accurately represent the current directory as it is stated at the top of the window. It simply lists the directories that it expects to be in the Fly! II folder, no matter what the current directory contains. I tried running Fly! II in both Mac OS 9.2 and Mac OS X, with similar results.

Joe,I believe the editor function is broken in the Mac. I have never been able to get farther than the file manager. I select a file and, whether I hit Return, Enter, or double-click, the cursor merely moves back to the top of the directory.I recall that others have encountered this.

Are there any Mac programs that extract .pod files?

Would somebody be generous enough to attach a resource file (.lst) to this thread so that I can attempt to build a pod? I am not picky about which aircraft the resource file is from, only that it is legitimate and functional.

You can do this, I've done it quite a bit. To extract files from a pod on the mac, place the pod file that you want to extract in the main FlyII directory, then you will see it in the file list. It seems that you cannot navigate the directories in the Mac release of FlyII within the file manager. Also, I always have to force quit out of it. Thanks for the tip, I thought I had tried everything. Incidently, you can hit esc to back out of the file manager without force quiting. But, now that I have extracted it, what needs to be where in order to rebuild a pod file from a response file. When I try it, I get an error number two and a crash.
