Andrew,These are two different products. TerraScene generates textured sceneries and Terramodels allows you to create 3D airports or 3D sceneries. They are 2 seperate downloads from different authors. There is not a lot of reading to do as both are very easy to use.Mannie

I understand that.I created some Terramodel scenery; once using Terrascene, my Terramodel scenery has disappeared.>Andrew, >>These are two different products. When you use Terrascene you should clear your data directory or temporary rename it and create a new empty one.Your Terramodel files are probably inside the POD you created with Terrascene because the were sharing the same globe tile area.Mannie

Hi Mannie, and thanks - Actually, the first step I take after Terrascene completes (unless I'm sleeping :) ) is to clear the data directory, so I doubt that's the problem.I'm not sure what the Terramodels being "inside" the POD means or if it is correct or not.Any thoughts? Thanks again,Andrew>When you use Terrascene you should clear your data directory >or temporary rename it and create a new empty one. >>Your Terramodel files are probably inside the POD you >created with Terrascene because the were sharing the same >globe tile area. >>Mannie

Andrew,Check your POD file and look if there are any files which may belong to Terramodels. I found mine just the other day after rendering some tiles. You can use "podview" to look inside the POD and extract the files back.Mannie

Mannie,You are exactly right about this. The Fly II slicer will include any TerraModels scenery files in TerraScenery POD files. This problem somehow slipped through the cracks when the slicer was released with Build 230 (at least, I think it was Build 230).I always Terrascene an area, before usign TerraModels to work on the airports in that area.Allen
