Reality XP Radios...Worth it?

Hi Scott, they are definitely worth the price for me. Used them in any plane I fly with FS2002 and the main difference to all the other GPS I've tried so far (free or payware) is that this is based and behave like its real counterpart. All the buttons are working and in the end you have a greater feeling with the avionics. I also enjoy a lot the nav/comm radios. Make no mistake about it, it is an advanced radio system linked to the GPS, not a simple flip/flop box.Hope it helps!

OK, YOU ARE ALL CORRECT! I purchased the XP radios and they are really good!I have noticed no FPS hit, just as you all said, and using the Apollo avionics setup is a pure joy.These radios do really add to the flight sim "Reality" experience. Being a CFII, I think I will be able to use these new radios with my students for familiarization and procedure training during ground school, since a couple of the airplanes at the flight school use Apollo based GPS systems.Thanks to ALL of you in this post for your input, because of your recommendations, I have made a good purchase decision this time around for a FS add-on!Happy Simming!Scott Heinz :-scatterATP/CFII - In the real aviation world!

Scott,I just wanted to share this real quick. I had a minor problem with loading flightplans due to a missing entry in my FS2002.cfg and emailed them.To make a long story short, within 2 hours (on a Saturday afternoon!) the problem was solved. Their product is excellent and their support second to none.This is how I love to spend my money.
