Another TS problem

Recommended Posts

Guest

Just finished rendering scenery with TS, looks great, but the night textures don't kick in.I can see the day and night TGA in the output folder, and the scenery folder has my scenery in it (the pod and the scf file). When I go to slew mode, and move over the scenery and advance the time (with T), the towns and highways don't light up.I welcome your help!

Ok, turns out that the smaller towns don't light up, only the big ones. However, the highways are still dark.I noticed an option in the advanced rendering options: cutOffPercent=20.What I would like to get as a result is all towns, big and small lit up at night.Does the above setting allow me to fix this? Thanks for all your input.

Malbeuf,Try lowering the cutOffPercent, I usually use 5. If you set it to 0, the fly slicer will not remove any night lights, but frame rates may suffer as you lower the value.Todd
