Fixes for TBM Nav source buttons when using Win2k/XP?

Recommended Posts

Hello again and thank you for all your input, I enjoy this site almost as much as the FlyII program.I have been trying to look into the files used in the ROTW's TBM700 EFIS display to discover why there is an exit to desktop when switching the Nav1 source. The Hawker has an EFIS with similar functionality and no glitches in Win2k/XP. I was curious if anyone else had looked into this and what their results had been.Zane

I hadn't tried out the PC12 before. It's EFIS and controls are basically identical in function, just different locations. I am going to try re-writing the pnl file with the wording from the PC12, keeping the art and locations of the TBM and see if that works... if someone else has already tried this, please let me know.Zane

Not the problem... the wording is identical save for the bitmap specified and locations. Will continue looking for the reason you get an exit to desktop when pressing these damn buttons. Anyone else trying the same, I'd appreciate your input.Zane

That would be cool if someone could get it to work. This has become my plane of choice.

Must be in the dll file for the EFIS and I don't know how to mess with that program. I have exhausted my limited knowledge for futzing with stuff and not permanently messing it up. We'll just have to wait for ROTW to post an update. I understand that the Staggerwing they have been working on will be out soon. I personally offer a big thank you for the continued support ROTW has given, free I might add, to this sadly departed program.Zane
