they are *.tif files and have the name like Cement.tif. You will find them in the Startup.pod. Now, the taxiways textures are easy to replace. I have not had good luck changing the runway. The runway texture has multiple frames.....tony

Thanks a lot Tony.Other subject : About SB, I have good news now :I'm now officialy part of ProtoDev group (Vatsim devpt group). And I must thanks Lefteris, he was so great to introduce me and permit the acceptance process !So as soon as Lefteris will send the SB source files (because he has just now the right to do it), I'll begin to work on it, or I should say, I'll begin to try to understand how it's working (for a while ;-))

That's great. Let me know if you need feedback or testing. :-)If you want , I can send you a pic of the "texture" that I currently use for my taxiways. I did not ask permission from the author, so I use it strictly for personal use. Also, what do you know about the work that the folks who fly the aerowinx 744, a dos program, are doing with its ability to "connect" to fs2002 scenery via another pc. I suspect that if "scenery" is a weak point of FLY2, such an approach would solve many issues, considering that the cost of pcs is increasingly more reasonable.tony

Tony,There is a DB entry specifically for assigning a particular runway a texture or for mixing textures. I've never played around with it, but it's one of the items Richard documented when we were going over DB updates for the last patch.
