Does anyone know what might be causing my cloud cover to not extend to the distant horizon? It doesn't seem to have anything to do with display settings within FS2002 as I have tried ajdusting them all. Is it possibly a graphics card issue?GeForce 2 GTS 64 MB cardhave tried numerous driversAthlon Tbird 800Thanks!John-PaulToronto

Hi, No it's not your video card, it's msfs, this happend when your visibility is reduced, also when the the cloud is high in altitude, but in this shots I think, it is the reduced visibility, in cfs3 is seem little better but, the high level clouds does not covers all the sky only a small part!!Try to slide your visibility in your weather option to max and see, the line will still here but little better.Msfs fs should redone the weather engine from scratch for fs2004!ThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFshttp://fsw.simflight.com/fsw.jpg

Actually, I believe its due to real world weather. It happens to me all the time when I use it. It is most likely caused by one weather station reporting high altitude clouds, but another one nearby isn't, thus you see the clouds doing that. If you set the visibility lower, it sometimes helps it.Scott

That's a LARGE bmp being posted! But seriously, water reflection causes the horizon to be very pronounced i.e. the hazy effect is virtually gone, I turn it off cause of this effect, reminds me of fs98 :~P !
