Attitude indicator moves in steps of 2 degrees

The round attitude indicator in fly!II moves in pitch in steps of about 2 to 2.5 degrees. How can this be changed so that this jerky pitch motion is reduced to steps of one degree or less? If this is possible to do - how would I go about making this change?Brian

G'day Brian,I don't know if this will do what I think it does but if you open the Flyhwk00.pnl file and scroll down to the gage entry for the AH.horiyou will find a tag --- pixels per degree ---0.6Try altering this value. This I think may make the ball more sensitive. I'm not sure exactly what it's for but it looks promising. Let me know if this helps.Cheers,Roger

I have tried that and it does change the sensitivity, but does not change the jerky movement of the attitude indicator. It still moves in steps of about 2 to 2.5 degrees. I am wondering if the response to changes in pitch can be made the same as the attitude indicator in the Pilatus and Perigrine, which is very fluid in its response to pitch changes.Cheers, Brian

G'day Brian,Sorry to hear that didn't work because that means the only way to get a more fluid AH into the Cessna would be to try and import the gage from the Peregrine or Pilatus. This of course would require all the dependencies and subsystems to also be taken care of and that's unknown territory for me.Cheers,Roger

Many thanks Roger. I was really hoping that there might be work-around to solve this problem. Fly!II really is a great program in what it can do and how it can be modified. ROTW have done a super job with the TB-10 instrument panel and the attitude indicator. for me, the larger instrument makes instrument flying so much easier. ... and it would be even better if more fluid.
