Documentation formats

Recommended Posts

Does Word format work well enough for everyone that would like to read the documentation that's being developed for our hobby? I don't know how many FU3 modders have Word.I have the full Acrobat 3 (granted it's not the latest) to create hyperlinked PDF files from Word documents if that would be useful. In order to have it come out correctly, Word documents must use the built-in headings (i.e. Heading 1, Heading 2, etc.) in order to build the Acrobat bookmarks along the side panel of the Reader, and Word cross-reference hyperlinks to build the Acrobat hyperlinks in the document. Word's Web hyperlinks are also supported.

Not sure about other arguments so I thought I'd pose the question. I do know that other free tools on the web don't create links in PDF files from links in Word documents (which is why I bought Acrobat for generating hyperlinked documentation).
