One thing that bother me with the Arrow/Archer

Recommended Posts

Hi. This is a wonderful plane (er...panel design :) ), but there's one thing that bothers me.The first screenshot is the plane from the exterior view. Note the height of the cockpit in relation to the building. The second pic is the plane in the same spot, but the F2 view. As you can see, the view is too high. From the external view, the cockpit is at about the same height as the lower windows. On the second pic, the view is quite a bit above the windows. How can I lower the view? The issue causes me to flare too late when landing, making the landings very bumpy..ok, that's not the only reason why my landings are "interesting", but it plays a PART of it :)

You may increase or lower your "head_tilt". It's in the flight3.cfg and it can be changed. Mine is currently: head_tilt 356Please play with the number until you get the view that fits your panel. Just keep in mind that this is a global setting and may not fit other aircraft, in which case you'll want to change it again. You may change it while the sim is running by bringing up the command line on top of the screen and set head_tilt --> value.best regards,Hans Petter
