November 10, 200223 yr Lars,You wouldn't believe how close you are to hitting the mark with that screenshot. Several people have told me that I look like Rowan Atkinson, but I tend to keep a more normal looking face :-)I have just taken my first short flight in Ansgar's 747 (a circuit at Half Moon Bay), and I managed to take off, complete the pattern, and then land successfully. Ansgar is intending to increase the stall speed of the 747 at some point.......maybe he feels that a pilot like me shouldn't be ABLE to fly his masterpiece. After all, I do fly it like a Spitfire :-lolOf course, I'm far too big headed now to even contemplate failure :-)Chris Low,ENGLAND. November 10, 200223 yr Shelton,The Beechjet is easier to fly than I thought, but you have to remember that I don't take it up to high altitudes or speeds. I prefer flying my aircraft "on the edge", which means a relatively high angle of attack, a certain degree of flaps AT ALL TIMES, and an airspeed of around 115 knots :-) This provides me with an excuse to fly a high performance aircraft in FU3, and yet still have the time to enjoy the magnificent scenery as it glides by at a relatively leisurely pace (and yes, this is also how I will be flying the 747-400).Since this type of flying is NOTHING like that experienced by a real Beechjet pilot, I would suggest that you get some tips elsewhere :-lolBest Wishes,Chris Low,ENGLAND. November 13, 200223 yr OK I see, so your not flying it is 'real mode' - thats kool - im like you - i like the slow planes - so I can enjoy the scenery - the England scenery is looking fantastic - I think having Heatrow and stanstead will be a welcome addition to the sceneryCheersShelton.
