Radeon FSAA / Aniso Comparison

Recommended Posts

Guest

In response to questions about FSAA / Anisotropic filtering in another thread, here is a composite picture with a few of the available combinations on my ATI Radeon 8500.The tests were done at 640x480, as that seemed to produce the most differences.However...the differences are small in screenshots. They are far more noticable on the moving image.Suffice to day, anisotropic filtering definitely works on FUIII with this card, and is very important in removing most of the texture shimmering.Ian

Thanks for the comparison - I remember pulling my hair out trying to get the shimmering out of FU3 - and at last FU3 looks alot better on my card which is a GeForce 3 4400.CheersShelton.
