It looks like I'll be missing next Saturday's chat

Unfortunately, it appears that I will miss the chat this coming Saturday. My cousin is singing in a local restaurant/drinking establishment, and myself and quite a few of my relatives will be there to watch (and in my case, film) her.By the way, she's 18......and a damn good singer.Chris Low,ENGLAND.

I'm confused, Chris.She's a singer and you're going to SEE her? I'd be more interested in what she SOUNDS like!I suppose with the 18 'credentials', seeing IS believing :-)It's OK. As a muso myself (why did I admit that?), I always find it amusing when people say they enjoyed 'seeing' me play. I usually say "so, what did it sound like?" :-hahI hope the gig goes well for her - what sort of stuff does she sing? Is she a writer? If she ever comes here, I'll give her a guest spot! Jon,OK, for yourself and all the other pedantic members of this forum.....I am going to LISTEN to her singing :-)She is popular in my local area, but she hasn't yet had any form of voice training. That will be sorted out in the near future. As for what type of songs she sings, she currently sings a wide variety of stuff........Madonna, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey (she does a very good rendition of HERO), Cher, Atomic Kitten, Emma Bunton (Baby Spice)......and others. In fact, she has recently been to a professional studio, and they were quite impressed with her.Chris Low,ENGLAND.
