Just love this sim ;) After restoring my hacky video files, I went for a few flights just to check the bird 'one more time' (and to make sure I'd fixed the video). I did an early flight from Easton to Seattle city and got this beautiful shot at low altitude over the city at dawn. "Good morning, Seattle!"http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/16213.jpgAnd this after takeoff, later in the morning - she's not a bad renderer, considering her age...http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/16214.jpgA couple of timezones later, just beginning descent near Plymouth with the seemingly endless patchwork below.http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/16215.jpgThis UK scenery is rather unique, huh?http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/16216.jpg:-waveJon Point*************************(effyouthree@hotmail.com)*************************

Absolutely brilliant! The plane looks great, the cockpit's looking perfect as well. Congrats again Jon.The first shot came across a bit dark again. I keep telling you to lighten up a bit ...RobD.

Dear All,Thanks for the nice words. I intend to upload it today.Chris, thats VFR. Here's the IFR panel:http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/16329.jpgJohn, it's a 'SHE'! I wouldn't have spent so many late nights with a bloke! Call it a hangover from the Navy - anything you risk your life for or rely upon for your own safety is a 'she'. That way, when something goes wrong, your mates aren't offended :-lolKeep an eye out for it in the library over the weekend ;)Jon Point*************************(effyouthree@hotmail.com)*************************

Hm, Jon, I noticed the three green lights in the last screenshot... But WHAT THE HECK was you doing with your wheels down at 25000 ft?!?Are you going to give us an already damaged airplane??? :-)Cristian

On cristian's point, I think with the Dash-8 the green lights are on when the gear is safe - i.e. not in transit. Is this a bug? I was also flying high on the weekend (I fly best when I'm high - oops, delete that) and noticed the green lights. Shame on the beta testers I say.Robert.(beta tester, Dash 8).

Shame on the beta testers I say :-lolActually, I think it was a trap... The beta didn't have the same setup! The problem is, there are four lights; red (on and off) and green (on and off). Somehow, I mixed the position of these up in the cockpit instrument images list (don't ask...) and my last minute attempt to correct this resulted in green lights - sorry! It will be fixed in the next release, OK?:-waveJon Point*************************(effyouthree@hotmail.com)*************************
