Thank you for the very kind words Ansgar. It was a pleasure working with Hans and I'm glad I could help him produce my airplane for this sim. Sad to say I have a very low end quality computer with very little disk space at this time (have to use my spare money to keep Big Red in the air :-) ) but I hope to have a better computer built soon and then I'll try and get a copy of FU3 and try out Han's Big Red.Best regards,Ed Weber a.k.a tallpilot

Hans, I don't think I'm qualified to judge! I was just describing what it felt like to fly, but as you said, the Baron has a wider turning circle then the Cessna's! I know that when I took off from IOW, I struggled for height in clearing the first ridge (half-full tank), but then it kept climbing effortlessly to 8000. So once she's got her AOA down a bit and clean airlines, she climbs well. But near the ground for scenery spotting, the air is disturbed, response is sluggish due to low speed from tight turns. And this is perfectly normal and to be expected for a Baron (from my sim experience). Nor was it meant as a criticism of the plane - not at all! She looks and flies beautifully and is a real asset to the FU3 library.RobD.

Well, to Ed and the rest of you, here's a little parade of the Big Red. I took the screenshots in the San Fransisco region to get the right backdrop for a southwestern airplane. (As you might expect, the Big Red catches a cold when flown in the UK since it's not used to humid weather).http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/19172.jpghttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/19173.jpghttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/19174.jpghttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/19175.jpghttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/19176.jpgHans Petter

Hans, you've caught the windshield reflections well in your screenshots! She's a spectacular plane. Thanks Ed, Hans, Ansgar, Tom and all who have worked on her to bring her to this peak.RobD.
