Hi Folks,Here's some previews of the Blanik soaring around "Twin Peaks" - this time with full textures - and a pilot! The aircraft and package will be released together so you will have somewhere new to try it out ;) In the mean time, enjoy the shots!Glidin' past...http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/31610.jpgWing camera(!?!)http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/31611.jpgCruising in a thermalhttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/31612.jpgSame thermal, different direction ;)http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/31613.jpgFloating over the ridgehttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/31614.jpg:-waveJon Point*************************(effyouthree@hotmail.com)*************************

Jon,I have never tried gliding in FU3........stop throwing those stones at me, glidernut :( ........ but I have to say that you have created yet another beautiful model. The transparent cockpit canopy looks excellent. There'll be lots of these :-jumpy around here when glidernut sees those screenshots :-)Chris Low,ENGLAND.

Pete,Well, actually I have suffered engine failure whilst flying in FU3. However, you will probably be aware that most of my flying has been done using planes with TWO engines (the Baron and the Beechjet). In fact, the Beechjet right engine failure was due to a fuel leak. This resulted in the plane wanting to turn left, requiring opposite lock on the joystick. However, when the engine finally failed, the plane started to turn right :-eek This effect was (I assume) due to the decrease in weight on the right side when the fuel load was dropping, and then an increase in relative engine power on the left, resulting in a tendency to turn right.Fascinating stuff. Are these type of effects simulated in MSFS ?Even more impressive.......I actually touched down on the runway at Scotts Valley (my original destination after take-off from Garibaldi), although this was considerably off centre (that's "off center" to you Bob :-) ), and the lack of thrust reverse resulted in me exiting the available tarmac at a considerable speed :-eekFortunately, I stopped before hitting any trees or mountains :-lolChris Low,ENGLAND.
