...get it while it's still hot! Awesome panel, too - though I do wonder how Charles Lindbergh managed to get his plane over the Big Pond without forward view (-: .

Lucky Lindy *did* have a forward view, of sorts. There was a periscope put in that allowed him a limited window (I don't know if this is simulated or not -- I've downloaded "Spirit" but haven't tried flying it yet). Also (and here's where our sims probably fail us the most) from watching the movie "The Spirit of St. Louis" (based on the book which Lindberg wrote and having the great man himself serving as technical advisor on) it's clear that he spent a lot of time actually leaning out the left hand window to see, something that would be hard to simulate unless you brought up a left forward window void of any plane (well, maybe some prop would show). The movie itself is a must see for any aviation fan (they showed it on the 75th Anniversary a couple weeks back, and I've watched it three times since then).

I don't know if it has a virtual cockpit yet but if it does you can shift your view to the left to simulate your head out the window. I can't remember the exact keys but it involves ctrl-shftDavid
