DIA, A319s, & a bit of Sea-Tac...

Note the satellite dish... they let you watch 24 channels of Direct TV for $5.00 on a 4 inch screen in the back of the seat ahead of you. No... that isn't my plane... this is gate S3... my plane left from S5 and it was identical to the one I went up in... maybe the same one. That is... however... my mountain! :-lol (Side note: I was walking around and talking with FlyBert on my cell phone when I snapped this. ;-)) ((And I have no idea how they plan to board this puppy. :-eek))

Nice shots, it was great to see that the real Mt Rainier over the back of the airport. But your shots show that the FU3 default models for Seatac are not too good - a lot of this detail should have been included. I've found it very hard to get good photos for Seatac though - UK was much easier!Glad you're back safely.RobD.

Keep in mind that the plane is parked at S3... meaning the South terminal... also Rainier is Southwest from there... you are looking away from the rest of the terminal facility.

Robert,I have a Just Planes video of SeaTac International, and that is very likely to have some good shots of the terminals and other buildings. Quite how I get these images to you (short of sending you the video itself) is open to debate ;-)Chris Low.

Well, this is getting a bit off-topic but any ol' video can be digitalized. My brother-in-law is a film freak and he just converted all of his old home videos to DVD. You might search for "Pinnacle" or similar software if you're interested. With the right software you may scoop anything that comes through your TV cable / runs on a VCR and save it as AVI, MPEG or whatever you choose. Then you may edit it, add caption and take screenshots etc.Hans Petter
