Saitek X45 Joystick + Throttle

Recommended Posts

Guest Thomas

Hello friends of Flight Unlimited,Recently, I got a Saitek X45 Digital Joystick + Throttle and experienced some trouble setting up all the analog controls for FU3. I wonder if someone could help me to figure out the missing bits of information to set up this device properly.I know that FU3 accepts analog inputs for the following controls:- joy_device (roll & pitch)- rudder_device- toe_brake_device (left & right)- throttle_device- prop_pitch_device- mixture_deviceSo far, I have identified the following X45 assignments for the various analog controls:1-1 Roll Control1-2 Pitch Control1-3 Throttle Control1-4 Rotary Analog Control 2 (the upper one)1-5 ?1-6 Rudder Control1-7 ?1-8 ?If I assign the analog input channel 1-7 to the FU3 mixture device, the mixture lever moves to the mid position. Unfortunately, I did not find any X45 control that moves the mixture level. So, what are channels 1-5, 1-7 and 1-8 used for?Since this is my first post in this forum, I would like to use the opportunity to thank everyone who helped to enrich or expand the world of FU3.Best regards from Germany,Thomas
