Foggy flight

Recommended Posts

IN line with Chris' flights, here are a few pics from a recent flight. Its in the old DC3 (Jon's version of Ansgar's plane), in Ansett livery (ahh, those were the days).http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/89753.jpgWhoops, I seem to have mist the river. Beautiful wather effects in this old sim.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/89754.jpgA dome looms out of the fog .. pretty rough modelling here. Next time I'll add some more points ...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/89755.jpgFine weather further west ...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/89756.jpgBack home, fog's lifted.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/89757.jpgTrain is a wee bit off track. Note lots of examples of Jon the Shrubber's efforts along the bank.I had a fine flight from McChord to Mt Rainier, then Easton State - I'll try and post some pics of that soon.RobD.

Tactful? That's the first time I've been accused of that. No, I haven't had a chance to try out your new Pegasus yet, but I've got no doubts it will be superb. I have the file downloaded from email but have to get it home then install it. This weekend, promise! Then I'll post some shots of it flying.RobD.

Tactful?Watch who you're swearing at! Sorry Quentin, I did get it but haven't been able to get to FU3 for a little while now :-(Truth is (or about as close as you'll get here...), I'm love-struck :-rollA new girl! Weekends away, camping and 4WDing, late evenings wrapped around a bottle (and/or each other...), Japanese food for dinner, talking till all hours etc, etc. It's like discovering a shiny new Seminole in your shed, complete with an instructing pilot, a picnic lunch and 2 tanks full of fuel :-lolAnd yes, she's even prettier than the last one (girl, not Seminole)From last weekend:TFI "Trim that bank out a little"Me "Trim? I've run out of trim!"TFI "And why is that?"Me "Flying with NO fuel in the right tank has turned the Warrior into a boomerang"TFI "A what? A meringue?"Me(laughs - a lot)TFI "You've got this plane flying like a boomerang!"Me "It's YOUR boomerang, can I have SOME fuel in the right tank next time?"TFI "You want fuel in your meringue?"Me "yes, so I can set it on fire"TFI "Was that tyre or fire"Me "Fire"TFI "Where"Me "In the meringue"TFI "Sorry, I lost you..." :-waveRegards,**************Jonathan Point**************
