Wasn't it! I watched it on the TV, and listened into Heathrow Director on the scanner (120.400). It pulled up and then reported the field in sight to ATC, and was cleared to land on 27L. Callsign was 'Concorde', nice and simple ;) !

Andrew,Thanks for reminding me I posted this topic because it's flying-related and not political in any way.Geez, I post something about some cool formation, and it turns into yet another meaningless argument of my sim (or country in this case) against yours. Wow. It never even occurred to me that's where this would go.Please, oh please, stick to the cool pics and forget the nationalization and politics. There are other forums for that.Now if only someone could post a video of the pull-up, which I never saw. A Diamond-9 with the Concorde is soooooooo pretty.

Why do you hide behind a cloak of anonymity?Think back to the 11th September and those awful images we all witnessed. Two days later the Queen ordered that the Stars and Stripes be played during the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace as a mark of respect for the American people and as a show of support for our cousins across the pond.Whatever your nationality it's a pity you couldn't remember those actions before you posted such an insensitive message. What in the heck was the original post about anyway? Oh yea, the Concorde. Someone could post a picture of a field of daisy's and it would degenerate into some sort of flame war about what country has the most daisy's or how MS did not get the shade of the yellow right on the daisy's or someone would start screaming for a daisy patch because they get stuttering when the wind blows the daisy's!Ah well.
