Hans,Well, since it was me who sent another begging letter to the southern hemisphere, then.....yes, it will be part of SanFran 2006. I'll have to check that out. Jon has provided me with a package (presumably the one seen in the screenshots), but I had already created a scenery package of San Francisco Marina (with trees, marinas and sailboats). I have simply added the St Francis Yacht Club model to this, but it seems like glidernut (and probably many others) would prefer Jon's version with the yachts and palm trees :-)Chris Low.

I don't mean to throw a spanner in the works here:-hmmm, but I don't believe palm trees are native to San Francisco - much too chilly. Their range in California probably doesn't extend much farther north than San Luis Obispo, as I recall from driving the entire coast. I could be remembering it incorrectly, but that's what my memory is of the matter.-Seadog

Jon,That yacht club building is quite hard to place. I added it to my San Francisco Marina package (viewing it from quite close up), and it looked fine. Then I zoomed out, and it looked all wrong !What orientation did you use for the building ?By the way, I was thinking about those flat sailboats. Is there any way that we could replace the existing version in the modelmip.tag file with a 3D boat of the same size ? I suppose that I could replace all of the ones that I have added with one of your other yachts, but there must be hundreds (if not thousands) in SanFran 2006 :-eekHaving said that, 3D versions of the marina models would probably be nice........Chris Low.

Quite fetching. Thanks. I grew up in South Florida, where Australian Pines and Melaleuca trees were the windbreaks and soil stabilizers of choice on the verges of the Everglades and the banks of man-made canals. Absolutely everywhere. Thanks for all the good trees, real and virtual. :-lol -Seadog

Quite fetching, John ;)ALthough, as weird as gum trees in Seattle is (actually, the bleedin' things grow in snow here...), a boab in Seattle?Speaking of windsocks, I tried 'moving' my flags! See zipfile attached. Only the 'US' and 'UK' flags move right now, but hey - it's 2:24AM and I just got off stage after playing for nearly 3 hours. Why am I here? I'm waiting for the ringing in my ears to subside :-rollI'm getting too old for this ;)
