Off topic - help needed

hi all, today we just got the message our company went bankrupt and as of today i'm out of a job .. that's ok, i'll survive, but now would be the time .. if there's anyone among you who knows how i, as a european, could get a job in the states .. please let me know ..best regards and many happy landings!!

It's not the easiest thing in the world to do, but got to http://www.ins.gov/graphics/howdoi/ead.htm and http://www.ins.gov/graphics/howdoi/immstatemp.htm to see what the INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) requires for a work permit. Usually you need to demonstrate a talent or have education that classifies you as an alien employee with "extraordinary abilities or education and training", I.E. able to perform needed and sought after work. thanx guys .. i'm leaving for the states on june 19th for a 10 day holiday .. guess i'll best just look for someone to marry me or so ;-)i'm a photographer/cameraman and i don't think that qualifies me as exceptionally educatedthanx anyway
