Hi, YCIgnore the first message, an artifact from an earlier time, as FU3 installs and runs fine on XP.Regarding the second message, FU3 contains a file named LGVID.AX. I'll bet you that's the one named in the message. The most frequent reason for such a "Can not copy ..." message is that you have run out of disk space to store temporary files while installing any program. The second most frequent reason is that you simply lack sufficient free disk space of any kind.Try cleaning out your TEMP folder and clearing your temporary internet files stored in your browser or browsers cache(s) by clearing those cache(s). Make sure you have sufficient Virtual Memory in your Paging File (formerly known as a swap file). Check the Windows Help function for how to do these things if you are not already familiar with them. These days disk space is not as limited as when FU3 was first published, so it makes sense to do a Full Install. After selecting a Full Install, you may see a message about not having enough space, but that, too, is more likely an artifact of an earlier time because FU3 cannot correctly read the size of today's much larger hard disks. If that's the situation, you'll see a reported disk size vastly less than what you know you have, and then it is safe to ignore that message. The installation manual recommends 2.1 GB of free space for a Full Install. If you have double that, you're in pretty good shape to get a successful installation, assuming you've cleared out those temporary files. And, assuming you get a good installation, reject any offer to install DirectX, because the version you already have is much newer.-Seadog

Thanks for the great reply seadog. Unfortunately I had sorted it out a while ago. There was a big lump of dirt on the back of the disc! Boy do I feel stupid. :(
