Jon,These look great mate!:-jumpy A fantastic job.Now that I've given you the big rev, how about a VH-UXP version for Oz one of these fine days.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/163102.jpgOr maybe a VH-BBL?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/163103.jpgIt raises the question though, how do we go with Oz registrations in FU? I imagine they may cause a few problems with AI, sound files etc...And yes, I'm still working on the lights, and OZ, and renovating the house, and etc. etc. etc. :-roll CheersBruce H-----------------------------

Tom,Thanks! Yes, there IS a military one I might finish before I upload - it's olive drab with army markings. Haven't thought of rego yet but it would be better if it ended with '20E' or '20N' :-lol I don't have a military cockpit (i.e. metal panel) though - hence why I was waiting.Bruce,I'm aware of our Aussie Staggerwings but neither really took my fancy livery-wise. The white one IS nice but I prefer the 'bird' back on the fuselage, with the 'wings' on the cowl. Stupid I know but I've had that image in my mind since I was a kid! As to Australian callsigns, download Ansgar's DC-3 with my Ansett VH-ABR rego (ther's a 40's and a 1971 livery). The callsign works out to "DC3 Alpha Bravo Romeo" but sounds real weird unless you pick the 'New England' voice in FU3 :-lolRegards,Jon Point

Hi Jon,These look great! BTW have you seen the latest edition of Flightpath (available at your local friendly newsagent). It has a feature article on the Staggerwing, including the rebuild of D17S GB-2 (centre spread photo) which spent some time here in OZ as VH-UUF, but is now back in the US.Originally a US Navy machine, it was pensioned off in 1948. It was stored for 32 of the next 40 years, and had only 1700 hours on the clock when restoration started. Some great pictures, and a good read.CheersBruce H

Bruce,Thanks ;-) I'll check out the mag - although I'm almost 'full' of Staggerwings by now :-roll I've had a lot of fun, found out lots of interesting thing and broke my own record by doing it all in, um let's see... First try of 2-day-old 3D model in a P51 (20th September, 2006):http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/163265.jpg... to now (17th December, 2006):http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/163266.jpg - about 90 days or 12-13 weeks. Now, imagine if 2 others were doing that? We'd have a new aircraft every month - or about 1/78th of what MSFS churns out :-lolPS How are the lights coming along?Regards,Jon Point

The lights... yes, well, um, errrr, the lights..... :-rollSee, the problem is I said to my wife a few weeks back, "Sure, I can get the lounge room renovated by Christmas ...........". And now I am up to my neck in plaster, paint and (cough) dust. But the end is in sight. And LightGen2 is getting to the point where it will be useful for extracting and rebuilding light tiles. I figured there was no point in just being able to extract. So, maybe a Christmas present yet ...And by New Year, I hope to have OZ Stage One ready for beta.CheersBruce H
