OK, that's cleaned-up ;)Over Spada Damhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/180060.jpgSpada Lakehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/180061.jpgSoaring near Big Greider Lakehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/180062.jpgGreat thing about this plane - lakes usually 'suck you in' due to downdrafts and must be avoided by gliders at all costs - unless that is, you have an engine ;)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/180063.jpgI'm almost done on the pilot callsigns and I'll upload it before the weekend :-waveRegards,Jon Point

Um er,I got an email about these so I thought I'd post my reply here. 1. The Spada Dam and Greider Lake packages exist only on my PC! They are, like many of my packages, designed for the new SRTM elevation and are not compatible with standard FU3 elevations. That said, apart from the dam wall, it should be possible to use the packages in any FU3 as long as you don't mind opening-up in FLED and clicking on a few objects to set them back to correct height.2. The trees are not 'ntree' replacements. Again, they are unique to my PC. I could upload them if anyone wants them. Having produced over 50 trees already, I wasn't sure that anyone wanted more :-lol3. Spada lake is where Rob Driscoll's "Forest Falls" package is located. Big Greider Lake is in the mountains above Spada, to the East. They are part of standard FU3 scenery. Grab a floatplane and go explore ;)Regards,Jon Point

I'd almost forgotten that I have the new elevation :-) Thus, scenery package uploads that complement the new elevation would suit me fine. Jon, you got all the work with the flattening it seems. How far did you get? For a full operational region we need flattened runways and lakes.

H-P,Yes, I got into the lakes first - all the Eastern ones. They're much harder than airports because they have a definite shoreline ;-) Then I started 'backcountry' strips like Easton, Ranger, Bandera, Skykomish, etc, then I worked across to Bergseth, Asplund etc. There are still (too) many to do but I had about 8 lakes and 16 airports done, last time I looked. Basically, most of the Eastern side, but I never got to the bigger ones. And I recently found a couple of 'land-able' lakes that I didn't know about!I actually use this version a lot now, even though it doesn't have many usable strips. It's just nicer to fly in ;)Might do some more :-rollRegards,Jon Point
