I've added this to the Severn scenery district in recent months.Added scenery: GLoucester city, detail on wharfs, Sharpness canal, church.Airport: accurate as I can make it using downloaded AIS diagrams, had to make some new objects to get close. Three interlocking runways. I need a vacation. Lots of helicopter pads - just when I finished them I noticed the new pads look different. Too late. Start from Glidernuts hangar, past CT and new refuelling stands, take off on main runway (27) pointing at cathedral.and there'll be at least one pendant who'll say - how come the cloister's on the wrong side and the main tower's goto a spire? To which I reply, don'cha know your 'istory mate? There WAS a spire, but when I was testing out the final version, I was looking out the left window when the spire came in through the right window. So that's why photos of G. Cathedral show no spire. That and the fact I used Salisbury Cath. Hey, it takes tens of years to make one of them! Maybe I'll fix it, maybe not. Also I've put in Eastnor Castle - that's a total cheat, built from left over chunks of The Tower. But what a beautiful area! Just NW of Gloucester Airport (Staverton) in the nearby hills. Here's some pics. Hi all, yes I'm happy to share it, just the usual difficulty that it uses several hundred models that not everyone will have. So its really two shares - getting the models out, and getting the package out (actually two joined packages plus airport folder). The models file (with updated night models) is about 40 Mb.What I could do is wait a few more weeks while Hans Petter and myself finish off a new models series, and then post the entire updated UK GEN folders here on AVSIM. Its been several years since I did this and that might make a good reference version. Cheers all,Robert.
