Boeing Load Editors

Recommended Posts

After a manual reinstall of the 757 and 777 all is well except the load editors. The 757 load editor returns this error msg: system io directory not found. This is most likely due to the manual reinstall going to the default FS path whereas the previous FS install was C:Program FilesFS9.The 777 load editor returns this error msg: License mismatch. Please reinstall from base files. Suspect the same FS path change might also be involved.Does anyone have experience with changing the FS main folder structure, i.e., from default to something else, then running the Flight1 FS path tool? If so, would like to hear about your results.Jim Harnes

Hi Jim.The 757 load editor needs a correct FS9 registry entry. There are several tools available to restore this; I use the one from TWEAKFS but the Flight 1 tool usually works fine. The 777 load editor needs an additional license key registry entry; see Ken's post on manual install below. Let me know if you have problems with this one.RegardsJohn R
