Blinking KB message on 757 FMC screen

Hi,On a flight I am now doing I see that on the lower right hand corner of the FMC screen on the 757 there are the letters KB which are blinking.Can someone please let me know what this means?Thanks,Matthew

Matthew,It allows you to type into the scratchpad via the keyboard. It is de+activated by a key {cannot remember which at the moment} or by putting the cursor on the bottom right where it is flashing and left clicking.Very handy when manually inserting a route.John R
