PSS Servers Gone Again - For good this time?

Recommended Posts

I now get a DNS error on the Phoenix Home Page - which was showing the January Statement until last week.Similarly the data server links are also down so trying to reinstall won't work any more either.Does anyone know if it's simply a case of someone forgetting to pay the domain registration and it's lapsed, or has it all been taken down once and for all?Real shame if it has finally gone.Richard

Hi Richard,a simple whois shows the following information for the PSS domain:"[...]Registration status:Renewal required.*** This registration has been SUSPENDED. ***[...]"Sorry for destroying your hopes here.Rainer

Far from destroying my hopes, I'm delighted it's that simple. A simple payment and it's all available again - at least the servers to allow people to re-install would be at least. If anyone has a way of contacting the owners, they could always drop a hint..........Richard

Looks like the bill has been paid - the download server is available again at 09:25 on 6th August.WHOIS shows renewable in 2010 and that the 'renewal request is in progress'.Thank you Antony..................Richard

Guest Musashi

I tried to use the intallers and although I can connect to servers it says my suername or pasword is invalid. So, although I own every bir of PSS products, excet for the Vulcan, no luck for me.Do you think this is a server proble or a migration problem where our usernames are omitted?Best regardsMusashi
