FSFlight Max does not recognize downloaded weather

Recommended Posts

Guest

I am having trouble getting the unit's radar to recognize downloaded weather using the Flight Sim download info from Jeppson. It will work if I set weather myself. Is there a path that needs to be set somewhere? Thanks. Colin

Colin,it depends ;-) What version are you running? Did you upgrade to V1.2 yet? Also, it may help (after you downloaded real weather to hit "OK" to be on the safe side. Another factor could be the tilt angle, make sure that it points up (when you're on the ground) or up/down depending on whether you climb/descend.Last but not least, I'd recommend you heading over to the flightmax forum for the latest patches and great support....hope this link works> http://www.simsystems.com.au/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgiHope this helps,Petehttp://home.neo.rr.com/zaehringer/pipersignature.jpgPIII600,512MB,Win98SE,DirectX8a,Geforce32DDR(Det.22.80),SBlive(4.06.703)

Remember Col, that the weather radar only picks uprain & lightning. Perhaps that kjnd of weather is not therein the FSMeteo data for that area. (You must have all theupdates installed).Peter Sydney Australia
